 | | Uncle Ho with ethnic minority people | VietNamNet Bridge - An exhibition featuring President Ho Chi Minh with Vietnamese ethnic minorities and another showcasing photos on the leader’s life and career recently opened in Thai Nguyen and Ha Giang northern provinces to commemorate his 117th birthday, on May 19. The exhibition in Thai Nguyen, which opens from May 18 and lasts for two months, introduces 339 documents and objects relating to his working visits to regions inhabited by ethnic minority people. The display also includes images of the country through the renovation process and President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on great national unity.
The exhibition in Ha Giang displays 117 photos on President Ho Chi Minh at the Northern Base, with ethnic minority people, armed forces and southern people. In particular, there is a symposium on President Ho Chi Minh with the people of Ha Giang when he visited on March 26, 1961. (Source: VNA) |
