VietNamNet Bridge - The Ministry of Education and Training on November 15 held a meeting to mark the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).

Attended by Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan, the meeting also included a get-together for 322 teachers honored as the People’s Teachers and Emeritus Teachers in 2006. Congratulating teachers on their day, Vice President reiterated that Party and State always place importance on investment in education, especially strengthening a growing contingent of teachers.
